Rent safely
Some "Rent now" listings ask for a refundable deposit, shown clearly in the price breakdown before you book. You pay it at pickup and get it back at return, provided the item comes back as agreed. Never pay a deposit before visiting.
Yes, you can withdraw a request while it's pending, and cancel a confirmed booking before pickup, from the Bookings screen. Owners can also decline requests. Once a rental is in progress it runs until return.
No, listing is free. Tap the green List button, add photos and a price (or choose contact-only) and you're live.
The green check marks listers we've reviewed: typically agents, agencies and rental businesses. You can apply from your Account via "Become a verified agent".
"Contact only" listings, often homes listed by agents, are arranged directly with the lister in chat: visits, terms and paperwork. "Rent now" listings take date-based booking requests on the spot.
For now you agree payment with the lister and pay at pickup. Most people use Mobile Money or cash. In-app Mobile Money & card payments are coming later.
Message the lister first. Most issues are sorted in chat. Keep the conversation on Veranda so there's a record of what was agreed.
