Your prescription, your results and your messages
A prescription photograph
Opened by the one pharmacy you sent it to, and by you.
Kept while your prescription is with the pharmacy, then 30 days after it ends: handed over, cancelled, or a price you did not take. Then we delete it.
You can remove it sooner, from the order’s page.
A result
One a laboratory or clinic sent you, or a photo you added of the paper. Opened by you, logged in. The laboratory or clinic keeps the copy it sent.
Kept while your account holds it.
Remove, on My results, deletes a photo you added. A report a laboratory or clinic sent stays until you remove your account.
A message
Read by you and by the pharmacy, laboratory or clinic handling that order, prescription or visit. If a message is reported, Veranda Market reads it and the five before it.
Kept until 30 days after the order, prescription or visit ends. Then we delete the conversation, photos included. If a message in it is reported, we keep it until we have dealt with the report.
Removing your account deletes your conversations and their photos.
Nobody at Veranda opens a prescription photograph or a result. Each one is opened through a link that stops working a few minutes later.
Everything else we keep
Your name and phone number
For your account. The pharmacy you order from or send a prescription to, and the laboratory or clinic you say you are visiting, see them so they can reach you.
Your orders
What you bought, and from which pharmacy. For a delivery, the address and landmark you gave: the pharmacy sees them, and so does the person it sends.
Your visits
The exams you told a laboratory or clinic about, and the name of the person each one is for. That laboratory or clinic sees them.
We keep these until you remove your account (see below for orders).
What we do not keep
Where you are. To sort by distance, the page asks your device. Your location goes with that one search and is not stored. Say no, and lists show no distances.
A record of what you look at. We set no tracking cookie, run no analytics and show no advertising. Logging in leaves a key on your device so you stay logged in.
Your basket and what you keep for later. They stay on your device.
Where it is held
Two companies hold it for us, and do nothing else with it: Supabase stores your account, orders, visits, messages, photographs and results, and Cloudflare delivers the site to your device.
Seeing, changing or removing it
Change your name or number on Account. To have a copy of what we hold, write to us with the phone number on it. We call that number to check it is you before we send anything.
Remove your account from Account, on this app. An order a pharmacy has handled stays in its records, without your name, number or address.
